TATA TIGOR EV
Tata Tigor EV is an all-electric compact sedan produced by Tata Motors, an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company. It is an electric version of the internal-combustion powered Tata Tigor compact sedan. The Tigor EV is powered by an electric motor that generates 30.4 kW (40.5 horsepower) and 105 Nm of torque, it is paired with a 72V lithium-ion battery pack which allows it to have a range of around 142km on a full charge. The vehicle comes with a standard 8-year or 1,60,000 km warranty on the electric powertrain and battery.
It features a regenerative braking system and three drive modes (Eco, City and Sport) that affect the vehicle’s power output, range and performance. The Tigor EV is primarily aimed at fleet customers such as government organizations and private companies, it is not yet available for general consumers and it is not available for international market yet. Tata Motors has been focusing on the development of electric vehicle technology and expanding its EV lineup as India is pushing for the adoption of electric vehicles to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and combat pollution.
